Network Analyst

The Network Analyst provides network technical support and assistance; monitors network operations; maintains, installs, configures, and upgrades network software and hardware; troubleshoots network and client hardware and software problems. 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Completed associate degree from a regionally accredited institution.
  • One year of network experience.
  • Two years of desktop support experience.
  • Demonstrated experience maintaining network and desktop operations to include installing, configuring, and upgrading software and hardware.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Three or more years of experience in a position including network management duties.
  • Certification in areas related to network management and security (CCENT, CCNA, MCSA,  NET+, SEC+, ITIL).
  • Demonstrated experience with enterprise network and system security.
  • Demonstrated experience with enterprise server or desktop virtualization.
  • Demonstrated unsupervised experience with Cisco enterprise switches.
  • Demonstrated experience in higher education IT.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting Macs and iOS devices in the enterprise.
  • Demonstrated experience with enterprise wireless infrastructure.

Salary is firm $53,000.00 to $56,000.00 annual gross.  For full consideration, all application materials must be received by 4:00 p.m. on Friday, June 24, 2022.  Applications accepted until position is filled.

Essential Functions  

  • Provide levels II and III support for the service desk and client services teams.
  • Maintain, support, secure, and administer data network and systems.
  • Assist with troubleshooting, analysis, design, and implementation of network and systems hardware solutions that support various protocols.
  • Security coordination, mitigation, and liaison with the system office security officer.
  • Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.

  • Cultural competence and demonstrated evidence, understanding, and commitment to the concepts of diversity, multiculturalism, and their application in the workplace.
  • Respond, log, and close network support requests and work orders.
  • Provide escalated-level technical support to clients and ITSS teams.
  • Install, monitor, and maintain all hardware and software components related to the operation of PPCC’s voice, video, and data networks including system performance and security.
  • Liaise with CCCS-IT security officer, coordinate scan results resolution, and perform mitigation activities.
