The Center for Excellence in Teaching & Learning (CETL) is seeking project support and administrative assistance.

This is a temporary part-time hourly position, not to exceed 28 hours per week.  Position is required in person, on campus.  

General Duties

CETL and eLearning Duties

  • Respond to messages and phone calls.
  • Serve as first point of contact for walk-ins.
  • Providing general information and basic support services.

Promoting Advancement and Growth for Educators (PAGE) Program

  • Review submissions for Professional Development Units (PDUs) and award the appropriate PDUs.
  • Work with the PAGE coordinator to prepare the May Institute event.
  • Update and maintain PAGE D2L shells (there are 2 of them).
  • Onboarding process for new enrollees.

Professional Development Week (PDW)

  • Coordinating efforts for PDW (working with PDW Coordinator, CETL Director, Facilities, Leadership Suite, etc.).
  • Create the PDW program, emails, sign ups, meeting links, marketing materials, and paperwork related to the event.

New Faculty & Instructor Orientation (NFIO)

  • Manage the Faculty Resource Guide (updated annually).
  • Work with the NFIO Coordinator to prepare for the events (3 per year).

Provide additional office support for The Equity Project, CETL events, and the CETL director as needed.

Cultural competence and demonstrated evidence, understanding, and commitment to the concepts of diversity, multiculturalism, and their application in the workplace.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Completed degree from a regionally accredited institution. 
  • Experience with program coordination.  
  • Experience working with a diverse population.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Attention to detail, including the ability to check for typographical, grammatical, and spelling errors.
  • Experience with D2L shells.
  • Teaching experience.

Salary is $20.00 per hour.  For full consideration, all application materials must be received by 4:00 p.m. on Monday, May 23, 2022.  Applications accepted until position is filled.

Work Schedule: Fridays required

  • Option 1) Monday/Wednesday/Friday - 8 hours per day plus Tuesday or Thursday 4 hours per day
  • Option 2) Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday/Friday - 7 hours per day 

Must be a State of Colorado resident or able to relocate to Colorado prior to first date of employment.
