The COVID Case Management Assistant in Student Services will exercise initiative, judgment and discretion in handling confidential and sensitive information related to COVID-19.  This position will (is) responsible for maintaining full-cycle COVID case management; creating, maintaining, and updating COVID caseload; providing consultation, information, and guidance to employees and students with potential COVID cases.

This is a grant funded assignment with a projected end date of June 30, 2022, renewal based upon available funds.

Multi-year grants are funded based on the fiscal years for the full grant period.  However, there is no guarantee that funding is available year after year from the awarding agencies.  Employment with the college after each grant funded period is not assured. 

Grant funded positions cannot guarantee a payout of leave benefits.  Grant funded employees are encouraged to work with their supervisor to schedule and utilize annual leave benefits during each grant period. 

Grant funded positions may be eligible for annual increases contingent upon awarded yearly grant budgets and a satisfactory performance evaluation. 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution.
  • Case management experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Two years of case management experience.
  • Experience with data tracking, analysis, and assessing outcomes.
  • Experience conducting inquiries in a timely manner.

Salary range is $45,000.00 to $47,000.00 annual gross.  Applications accepted until position is filled.  

Must be a State of Colorado resident or able to relocate to Colorado prior to first date of employment.

Essential Functions  

  • Conduct inquiry of all parties involved.  Manage assigned caseload.
  • Manage accountability for the accuracy of information provided.
  • Design, implement, and manage COVID caseload workflow processes.
  • Manage and develop a sustainable process that can react to the needs of students and employees.
  • Interpret college, state, and federal policies, procedures, and information related to COVID.
  • Serve as a college resource ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with federal, state, system, and college regulations.
  • Audit caseload processes through data collection, analysis, and assessment to determine process improvements.
  • Develop, implement, and assess outcomes.

  • Cultural competence and demonstrated evidence, understanding, and commitment  to the concepts of diversity, multiculturalism, and their application in the workplace.
  • Full-cycle case management.
  • Provide guidance, education, and resources for employees and students with potential COVID cases.
  • Remain current with college, state, and federal policies and procedures to COVID.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate professionally across diverse populations.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to utilize tracking systems.
  • Knowledge and understanding of college and community resources.
  • Organization and accurate recordkeeping with strict attention to detail of sensitive and confidential information.
